This #wedding lead came from thumbtack. I had a great feeling about this event from the beginning . I went to the house that they were having the event prior as an extended courtesy. Danielle & Macias did an excellent job with the planning and picking out the right music. The event began at 7:00pm. The dance floor was packed the entire night. We took requests and it was just a fun night overall. I had enough rope to add my touch . I hope to play for them again soon, just fun energetic friends & family. It was an honor to be apart of their celebration and I know I exceeded their expectations. Wedding flavor , Jewish, horas, little classic rock, disco, current pop, Electro, i even dropped some reggae to close out the night. I wish them all the best in the future. I got a late call in the beginning of the week to Dj a birthday party in East Hampton. When I arrived they told me that I would be setting up in the bedroom. It’s a little strange but believe it or not wasn’t my first time playing in a bedroom. We also got a visit from the police during minute 1, so I was good with being inside. It was a hot humid day. Great crowd and we rocked this diversified music list . I’m really getting to the point where i’m comfortable playing anything at anytime. It’s not often that I make house calls to visit with clients however i made the exception and i’m really glad I did. They were very friendly and French and I could tell immediately that this was going to be a fun party to do and i was spot on. Start time got pushed back an hour due to some rain showers. I came prepared with my ez tent as I didn’t have to setup or clean up in the rain. It rained almost the entire party but the guests were committed to having a good time. I get nervous because i’ve seen parties die because of rain. The music was cranking , the drinks were flowing and people were there for the duration and I was really happy for Francois as he was really enjoying himself the entire time BIG SMILES We started off with some current pop. This wedding was a great idea. When Jen approached me with the concept I was excited to be apart of it. They invited about 50 of their closest friends to what they thought was an engagement party. Birthday Party for Fadi Zaya Birthday parties are great in the summer time.I was really looking forward to this birthday party for multiple reasons. The kind of music, and people renting the house for the weekend. It’s usually a great combination for a great party and I knew it. When i found out that it was his 29th birthday i knew I was in for a great night. It took us awhile to decide where I was going to be but i settled on a place in the corner overlooking the pool and spa. Guests arrived and the bar was flowing and the music was cranking. Fadi provided me with a great selection of songs and I build the party pop, hip hop, rnb, house, electro, and dance music the entire night. I went back and forth between hip hop and house, and i was really in a great zone. I didn’t make a mistake all night. I felt confident with every music selection I played. I even got to drop a little old school bad boy from the 90s. It was such a great night. Friendly beautiful people liquor and music. It was really the perfect night.
