We were celebrating a graduation party and birthday party today. The first party began at 2pm and i played until 6pm but there was a problem, i was only supposed to play for three hours but my sheet said four. I requested payment for four hours but i left with only three hours of pay. I don’t run into pay disputes alot but i must say that I got taken advantage of. I recommend all dj’s carry a written contract on them so if there is a dispute over pay (which rarely happens) you have a sheet of paper that proves your case.
